You can visit the famous Tre Cime Di Lavaredo, also known as Drei Zinnen, and the famous Cinque Torri. These hikes are known worldwide.
It is easy to reach the nearby breathtaking Braies Lake.
One of the most spectacular and beautiful lakes, due to its deep blue turquoise colour, which varies according to the weather, is probably the Sorapiss Lake at 1.923 m. The hike there is quite easy and not very strenuous. Even higher is the Boé Lake at 2.275 m in the heart of the Sella Group.
You can choose between easier excursions such as a walk through the protected area of the natural park "Fanes-Sennes-Braies", the natural park "Puez-Odle" and the Alpe di Siusi and more demanding excursions such as the Pisciadù peak at almost 3.000 m.
The world-famous Sella Ronda with its beautiful Dolomites passes is very popular, especially with cyclists. You can cycle over the Gardena Pass, over the Sella Pass, over the Campolongo Pass and over the Pordoi Pass.
Over the Falzarego Pass / Valparola Pass you reach Cortina and through San Martino in Thurn, where the Ladin museum Ciastel de Tor is located, and through the small village Untermoi (Antermoia) you reach the Würzjoch (Herb Pass) at 2.000 m. In this area there is also the mountaineering village of Lungiaü with its Val di Morins.
The highest mountain of the Dolomites, the Marmolada glacier with its 3.343 m, can be reached directly on skis during the winter months.
Only 1 km from our apartment house you are already on the ski lifts of the Dolomiti Superski and at the entrance to the Sella Ronda. The cable car of the world-famous "Gran Risa" in La Villa will lead you to one of the most beautiful descents in the Dolomites, which is the venue for the Ski World Cup every year.
Our convenient and free ski shuttle will take you to the various lifts in a short time. This saves you any stress when driving or parking and you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
In La Villa, as well as in Corvara and the rest of Alta Badia, there are many opportunities to practice sports: the Dolomites are ideal for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledding and much more.
In our holiday apartments in Alta Badia you stay right at the foot of the Sassongher and the Gardenazza and at the same time enjoy a wonderful view of the Sass dla Crusc, which protrudes above La Villa.
From here you can take magical hiking trips in the Puez-Odle Nature Park and in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. Various hikes in all levels of difficulty will lead you through the wonderful Dolomites, which are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From La Villa, in the direction of Sompunt Lake, Corvara or San Cassiano, you will find various cozy walks, which you can enjoy with the whole family.
For sports lovers, there are several sports facilities just 1 km away, such as a tennis court, soccer field and a beach volleyball court.
